Raigad Fort, also known as Rairi, is a hill fort situated in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. The fort was the capital of the Maratha Empire under Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, until he moved the capital to Raigad. It is located on the Sahyadri mountain range at an elevation of 2,700 feet above sea level.

There are a few things to keep in mind when traveling to Raigad Fort in India:

1. The fort is located in a remote area, so be sure to plan your trip in advance and bring all the supplies you'll need.

2. The fort is quite steep and there are no roads leading up to it, so be prepared for a bit of a hike.

3. Once you reach the top of the fort, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area.
